hello I wanted to ask if there is a possibility to trigger the preview button per code to play a sound in the inspector

By code? Why would you need to do that from code? I can't think of a way to do that, but tell me what problem you are trying to solve and maybe I can come up with a better way.

I have made the integration for slate and master audio, now someone has raised the question of whether we can play the sounds in slate preview without going into game mode. Of course it works in play mode but the goal is to let it play that way

Well that's really cool! Are you the Slate author? Is this integration released yet? Does this need to work in Edit Mode or Play Mode or both?
We'll try and get this figured out. When it's working we'll add Slate to the list of integrations, which is beneficial to both plugins.

I am not the author, but I do it for the author I have already made other intregrationen for slate. This integration can already be downloaded, but currently only in slate discord on the website will be released soon. In play mode it works without problems. I have received the request to make it synonymous functional for edit mode, so synonymous, the question of how I can play the sound s.besten in edit mode, so I thought the same as the preview button to trigger maybe, So if you have an idea for the edit mode then please let me know: D

Would you be able to able call a static method in MasterAudioInspector if I refactored it that way? I would aim to add a method like this:
public static void PreviewGroup(string soundGroupName);
If I can figure out how to make that work. But the question is: does the method need to be on the MasterAudio class, or can it be on MasterAudioInspector, which is in the Assets\Plugins\Editor\DarkTonic\MasterAudio folder? Where does your code live?
