Right now, the drop down to select a sound is not working out. Right now, we have 100's of sounds and it takes ages to scroll to the bottom to select a sound. Our next title, we expect 1000's of sounds so will need some sort of category/folder system. Is there something I'm missing or is this a feature that could be added? I guess we could maintain our own external spreadsheet to categorise the sound names. And then just use the "type in" instead of the drop down.
Thank you, Richard

Well after the dropdown appears, you can type the first letter of the Sound Group to jump to the beginning of the T's for example. That should get you closer. True, you can always "type in" after selecting the Sound Group from the Hierarchy, hitting F2 to edit it, then copying the name, but it's not very convenient. Other than that, you really shouldn't have even hundreds (thousands?) in a single Scene if you're using per-Scene or per-Character sounds correctly (read about Dynamic Sound Group Creators on the documentation website). You don't just put every sound the whole game needs in one Master Audio prefab. That would take forever to load the scene alone, aside from memory considerations. Link to DSGC: www.dtdevtools.com/docs/masteraudio/DynamicSoundGroupCreators.htmI also think you should read the best practices page here which has some more options: www.dtdevtools.com/docs/masteraudio/BestPractices.htm
