I've just recently bought and installed the package. When adding the Master Audio component, it offers Master Mixer Volume (dB) a range of -90 to 0. As a result (I assume), I'm getting no audio. I've read documentation, threads, and tried my best google foo to find what I'm doing wrong, but have wasted far too much time on what is probably something super easy. What am I doing wrong?

You don't add the Master Audio component, you create the Master Audio game object from the Master Audio Manager window. Follow this Quick Start instead of guessing and it will be much easier. I'm not sure which documentation you read but I don't think it was this. www.dtdevtools.com/docs/masteraudio/HowToCreateSFX.htmIf you are showing "DB" settings that means you checked the "Display DB for Volumes" checkbox on the Master Audio Manager window. And that meter from -90 to 0 is correct.

Sorry, I wasn't clear, I indeed added the Master Audio component from the Master Audio Manager window. I was following the guide linked above. I didn't check the "Display DB for Volumes", but that gets automatically checked when clicking "Create" for the Master Audio prefab. When unchecking it, I see that the master volume goes to 1, great, confusion resolved. I still have the problem of no sound. I was looking at www.dtdevtools.com/docs/masteraudio/Troubleshooting.htm, but the only thing I wasn't sure how how to verify is "Is Master Audio ready to play?" What should I check for that? I've checked that the Unity Scene window has Audio toggled on (not sure if that impacts the editor UI playing of sound). Is there any other settings I should be checking? Thanks for your help!

Check if you have an Audio Listener (I assume you'd have tons of error in the Console if not). Turn on "Log Sounds" in Advanced Settings. What gets logged when you play sounds? Try changing all your sounds to "Force to 2D" - then do you hear them? If Master Audio isn't ready to play, it will say so in the Console when you try to play. Do you hear things when you click the Preview button?

Hmm. I had only been trying to preview a group, and heard nothing. I added an event sound to see if it worked in play mode, anndddd... it worked! I then went back to the editor to preview the sound, and now that works. Not sure what happened, but I can move forward. Thanks for your time!
