Working on Unity 2020.1.6f1 and MA 2020.3.7
So, After creating a prefab of the MA instance on a particular scene, I added 1 sound the the sound group (then apply changes to Prefab).
If I click the button "Click to preview" button, but no sound comes out. Same goes for the Playlist songs I have also imported. Preview doesn't work.
If I go to another scene created with only a GUI, import the prefab again and test the "preview button" on the same sound, it works.
Also, on the "faulty scene", if I run the game the sounds are there and working properly. So it's just the preview.
The "Toggle Audio On and Off" button on top of the Unity Editor is active, which I guess means the Audio should play (I've tried on and off to be honest here, with the same result)
So, I'm guessing I touched something on that scene I shouldn't have for that preview button to malfunction... But for the life of me I cannot find what.
Any help would be appreciated. I cannot start the scene again, it would be way too much work

Any errors in the Console? Note that the previews are played through an Audio Source that's created on the Audio Listener's Game Object, if it doesn't already exist. So if you already have an Audio Source there for your own purposes, make sure its volume is at full and it's not muted or anything.
If you can't figure it out, you'd need to send me the Scene so I can check it out, since I've never seen that happen and can't reproduce it.

You pointed me in the right direction! Thank you!
I have two cameras. One for the player's view and one for a GUI overlay (containing 3D elements).
Both of them had an Audio Listener (one was deactivated, but still there). The Audio Source had been created on the GUI Camera, which had the deactivated Audio Listener.
I deleted both the Audio Source & Listener from that camera and added an Audio Source to the player camera (with the active Audio Listener) and the preview started working.
Once again, thank you for taking the time A.
