All of a sudden the sounds stopped playing. There is not sound in playmode, the preview buttons are greyed out. When I hit play the sound group shows music and sound fx are playing but no sound. I also checked the debug sound log and the sounds are being played. I just can't hear them. I can get them to play using Unity's preview but nothing from MA. I am using Unity 2019.4.23f1. I'm also using the the latest version of MA. I also have a my sounds set to 2D. I can't think of anything else.

Preview buttons are grayed out? Give me a screen shot of that please, and let me know if you're in edit or play mode. I've never seen or heard of such a thing.
If you're in 2D (the sounds) and actually have an Audio Listener in the Scene, I also can't think of anything.
Have you tried if the included Example Scenes play any sound? You should.

There's nothing greyed out in that screen shot. The icons are gray always.
1) Have you clicked "Mute Audio" button on the Game Window? 2) It's possible that a persistent volume has been set to zero. To fix that, open the Master Audio Manager window and click "Reset Prefs / Settings". 3) Check that the mute button next to Master Mixer Volume at the top of Master Audio is not clicked, and also make sure it's not set to zero volume. Check at runtime as well.
Aside from those, I don't have anything else for you to try. I think somehow your Unity project is corrupted. Try importing Master Audio to a new project and you'll find the audio works. But I have no idea how to fix your project.
Let me know, -Brian

Finally got it working. I tried reinstalling Unity. Didn't work. I tried scrubbing my hard drive of anything Unity. Didn't work. I finally had to scrub the registry of anything Unity including anything relating to Unity audio. Then reinstalled and it finally worked.
