Hello,
Been a while since I posted here but always loving MA!
Have you thought about adding support for Unity's new MLAPI integration? I know its new and heavily in development at the moment and Unity loves to drop stuff, but all that said, it does look promising.
All the best, Nathan

I have not. From my understanding it doesn't have a simple way to integrate with like the old one (it's not a full framework). Is that true?

You would need to use something like Unity's Transport . So yeah, I guess that complicates it from your perspecitive.

Right. If they come out with a fully fledged framework, we will integrate with that.

Hi again,
We’ve been looking at Photon’s new system Fusion. It seems to offer a a lot of the same functionality as Unity’s new networking solution but as a complete package and seems to be much farther along in development.
Have you considered adding support for it since PUN is now depreciated?

This might not be apparent from the product description, but we do have integration with Photon 2, which is not deprecated. assetstore.unity.com/packages/tools/network/pun-2-free-119922We could consider adding support for Fusion once it releases, if the reviews are good. I will update the description to make this clearer. Thanks!

Hi again,
Ok, so sorry for my lack of clarity, I incorrectly said PUN was depreciated, I get that v1 is but I was referring to v2. It is not depreciated but in Legacy mode meaning that it is maintained but not actively being developed - they are using their resources on Fusion now.
But that’s great that you will consider it once it’s official. I am certain that many/most PUN users will migrate to it.
At the moment I feel like Fusion has more promise that NetCode.
Thanks again Nathan
