Hi,
We have used wav format with IMA ADPCM 4-bit, 44.1khz stereo/mono compression. Audio is randomly distorting using this compression.
Software used
Audacity
Switch Audio Batch Converter
Issue Unity 4.5.1
Audio Properties
Audio Format: Native WAV
Load into Memory
File displays 0bit, 44.1Khz Stereo
When Switch to Stream from disc it displays 16 bit and plays correctly.
When Load into memory with IMA ADPCM compression is adding glitch.
Please reply back if you have any solution.

Sorry, but I don't know. To be clear, this is a Unity audio problem, and not Master Audio, right? To test that, you could create a Game Object in the Scene, put an Audio Source component on it, assign your clip and turn on Play on Awake.
I don't know the first thing about Audacity, I use Sonar.
