Because deathPrefabKeepVelocity is not used in Killable.cs... A fix can be:
if (spawnedDeathPrefab.rigidbody != null && !spawnedDeathPrefab.rigidbody.isKinematic && body != null && !body.isKinematic && deathPrefabKeepVelocity) {
spawnedDeathPrefab.rigidbody.velocity = body.velocity; }
