So I made a basic cube that functions as a power up to increase the damage of my character's gun. The Killable script is on the "bullet" prefab and the custom action adds 1 extra damage to the bullet prefab when picking up the cube. However after exiting play mode I realize that the attack point value for the bullet prefab stays raised. I have to then manually change the number back in my prefab. So I figure I am not using that custom action correctly and I was wondering how it was meant to be used. I just want the player to be powered up til they die or a new game starts.
Edit: It does the same thing with health. If the custom action references something in the scene it resets after play fine but if it references a prefab then that prefab remains changed after play.

As far as I know, a prefab cannot be altered during play mode unless you click "apply changes", if that button is even active during play.
So I'm thinking that is not really what is happening. If you are pretty sure, you will need to send me a project that reproduces the problem so I can investigate. See the stickied thread "bug reporting rules".
