I have a Audio Manager in one scene that I've setup with all my sounds, with correct audio levels, etc. However this is only 1 level in my game, and I would like to have this exact manager object in all my scenes, so I've made it a Prefab but it appears to have issues when I've put it in other scenes nor does it keep the values I've adjusted on sounds. Is it possible to have a Audio Manager prefab that will act propertly across multiple scenes?
thanks

Are you saying that when you make changes and hit "Apply" that the other copies of the prefab in other Scenes don't get those changes? If so, that's a Unity problem, and not any problem inherent in Master Audio. Or did you not click "Apply" after making changes?
Please clarify if this is what is happening. We'll get you fixed!
Also, is there a reason you don't use a single prefab and just have it persist across Scene changes instead of having the same prefab in every scene?

Yea so I dragged the one object from my working scene into my project view to create a prefab. go to a new scene, place the prefab into that scene and non of the volume levels are the same. (they are reset to default it appears). Either way you are right that we should probably just load it up once when the entire game is loaded and have it persist always.

I just tried what you said, and it worked for me. Volume levels that I adjusted before creating the prefab were kept. If you are still seeing it, let me know exact steps if they are different. Are you on a Mac or PC, and which Unity version?
