I have a car engine sound that I have set to "loop". I start the sound, and everything is fine until I fire a bullet which triggers a fire bullet sound. Each time I fire a bullet the car engine looped sound gets quieter until you can no longer hear it. Does master audio automatically adjust sound volumes? Or what am I missing here?

No it does not. I haven't heard of this problem and it certainly doesn't happen on our 2 games. Is the car engine using a bus? Does the bus volume change? Does the Sound Group for the car engine continue to play inaudibly? You can check that by seeing if the voice count on the mixer is still a positive number. Does the car engine Group volume change?
