I am using Invector Character Controller. It has an event that occurs when a player's stamina is low. How would I use the event sounds component to trigger a sound? Is this what custom events are for?

Regardless of what other plugin(s) you are using, you will need to write a line of code to tell Master Audio what to do.
You can call the audio behavior directly, like MasterAudio.PlaySound3DAtTransform, although this has nothing to do with EventSounds.
OR
You can fire a Custom Event, which Event Sounds can listen for and do any of dozens of audio behaviors you can set up with it in the Inspector.
As to where that line of code will go, you would need to consult with the author of your other plugin.
We could also ask that author if they'd consider writing integration with Master Audio, if you'd like?

Thanks for the response. I figured I would have to write some code, no problem, I just didn't know if MA had something like that built in. That said, it would be great to have some integration with Invector Third Person Controller. I was able to create my own integration for the parts of Invector that I am currently using but perhaps a more elegant and complete solution would be better.

Actually, please send a link to the specific plugin you're using, I don't see a "Character Controller" one by Invictus that I can tell. Then I will email the author and ask about integration.

We don't write integrations ourselves except the multiplayer ones. The authors of most plugins have been kind enough to do that for us. I will email that author today and ask him.
Thanks! Brian
