Hello Brian-san.
I need your help.
I am having errors and problems with MasterAudio2022 in a game project I am working on, so I created a new, minimally configured debug project to find the cause. (MasterAudio2022 was newly added to the new project from PackageManager, so there should be no problem here.)
And the same problem was reproduced in that new minimal project, which I will explain.
I wrote the code this way. It should have worked fine.
[SoundGroup] public string SoundEffect, BGM;
[Playlist] public string playlistName;
void Start()
{
//MasterAudio.PlaySound(BGM);
MasterAudio.StartPlaylist(playlistName);
}
void Update()
{
if (Gamepad.current.buttonEast.wasPressedThisFrame)
{
MasterAudio.PlaySound(SoundEffect);
}
}
There are two problems with this minimal project as well.
First problem: When the music in the SoundGroup is playing, if a lot of very short sound effects in the SoundGroup are called, the volume of the music gets lower, and when the sound effects stop playing, the volume of the music gets louder and louder. It is as if AudioDucking is being performed. Even though I have AudioDucking set to not. I would like to know how to prevent AudioDucking.
I tried to separate the BUS in SoundGroup by BGM and SE, but this did not solve the problem at all. So I thought, "What if I play the music in Playlist? So I added a script to the script. Then the second problem came up.
Second problem: Playlist is running, but no Playlist sounds. I have reviewed the settings and could not figure out what is wrong.
I have been having this problem for several days. Please let me know what I can do to solve this problem. (I can give you this minimal project if you need it)

Please do send me the minimal project.
The first problem I have not heard of and don't know how to reproduce.
The second problem, please check if the Playlist Controller is using 3D sounds and is simply too far away from the Audio Listener to be heard. To use 2D sound, open the Playlist Settings section of the Master Audio game object and select "Force all to 2D" for "Music Spatial Blend Rule". If that doesn't solve it, you may have set a persistent volume of music to zero. If that's the case, to reset it, click the "Reset Prefs /Settings" button at the bottom of the Master Audio Manager window. Or perhaps the Playlist Controller or Master Playlist Volume are muted or set to 0?
Let me know if that solves #2 or not.
Thanks, Brian

Thanks for the reply.
I have also tried ResetPrefs/Setting, the settings are set to 2D, the position is 0,0,0 and the volume is maxed out. I will send you a minimal project.
