If we are developing a commercial mobile game as a team (Let`s assume that the team is comprised of 5 programmers, 5 artists and 1 sound designer)
to clear license, then how many copy of master audio should we buy?
( 5 artists are actually not using master audio cause they are irrelavant to sound, but their unity dev clients include master audio extension. and programmers are implementing master audio to dev clinet, sound desinger.. no need to explain.)

Hello!
Thanks for the question.
In your specific case it would be 6 licenses needed to cover the programmers and the sound designer (whoever interacts with Master Audio).
Unity is still a bit vague in their description of licensed seats, but we feel it's only necessary to cover anyone specifically interacting with the software either through direct interaction or code.
Cheers,
Eric

Bulk licensing information: - There are no license fees outside of the initial purchase price - the only EULA which applies is the one provided by Unity for the Asset Store here: unity.com/legal/as-terms?clickref=1101lyaDPfGG&utm_source=partnerize&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=unity_affiliate- With regards to the per seat licensing terms, please see section 2.3.2 of the appendix on the page linked above. - Although Unity doesn't explicitly state whether licensing is for each install or for each active user, we feel it's most appropriate for the licenses needed to cover active users including any audio developers, programmers, designers, producers, etc., that might utilize the Master Audio functions and inspectors, but not artists or testers or the like which might have a full copy of the build but never interact with Master Audio. So, yes, the full price per active user. We do have studio licensing available, which can cover studios of up to 150 developers, including remote devs and contractors. These full studio licenses are a one time flat fee of $2500 and include all updates for a given generation of Master Audio which coincides with major updates to Unity. We expect to have the next Master Audio generation for the new Unity 6 due this year. In the case of these studio licenses, there is a separate contract that we set up with terms beyond the Unity Asset Store EULA, but it's similar in spirit. Anyone interested in studio licensing, please email support@darktonic.com, let us know your studio size, and a bit about your projects, and we will explain more detail about the contract which is handled outside of the Unity Asset Store as Unity does not provide a way for us to do bulk sales of this nature. Sincerely, Eric Boosman CEO Dark Tonic, Inc.
