Hi! It's been quite a while (usually talking on the Unity thread). I'm sort of reprising this thread here. darktonic.freeforums.net/thread/1420/loop-song-time-introI have a song that I want to loop, so I set up the playlist like this. These are the playlist controller settings. I have "Gapless music" checked in the Advanced settings. However, when I play the playlist in the game, it'll loop the first part twice (imperfectly, regarless of my specific timing), and then either not loop the section or play once and then stop completely. Is there something I'm missing? EDIT: I tried with Loop Playlist checked, but the second section still doesn't loop. EDIT2: Alright, I realized that the looping DOES work. The issue is that I was using the seek bar to jump to the end of the loop so that I'd not have to sit through the entire song to see if it looped correctly. It's just a bit unfortunate that I'll have to sit through the entire loop, but not a huge deal as these are rather short songs. Although, I do have a timing question about the seconds used for timing. How accurate can it be? Nearest 10th, 100th? In Cubase, the exact loop time goes to the 1000th those (13.716), but that seems not to work so well, so I'm using two decimal places which seems to work alright, but I'd just like to be sure. Thanks again!

If you use the seek bar to jump ahead, to have it work perfectly, there is a feature you can also turn on under Gapless Music Switching that says "Auto-Reschedule".
Auto-Reschedule: Only visible when you have Gapless Music Switching checked. It will fix gapless to work even if you skip around in the track. It only works perfectly with pitch of 1 and sample rate of 48,000 or above. You can override your sample rate to 48,000 for it to work, and that even works on compressed files. The timing should be completely accurate, we calculate it and schedule the songs using the AudioDSP class. I can't answer your question any more than that unfortunately. As long as the pitch of the song doesn't change during playback it should sound seamless.

Oh I'll give that a shot with overriding to 48K. Thanks for the informative response! One other thing I noticed though, when using a Dynamic Playlist, setting it to Section doesn't bring up the boxes to put in the times to start and end. Is there something I'm missing here? Thanks again!
