Hello, I have a very strange situation and this might not be directly related to MasterAudio. I cant really explain what happens, I just have to show. Sometimes (lets say, 50~60% of times) my game starts to have this behaviour: Original audio for comparisson: Dropbox Link. It happens on Editor and at Runtime (standalone). On my PC, the designer's PC, and the QA tester laptop. I know it's something I need to fix. The problem is I can't reproduce it 100% of time, and as you can see on profiler, there is nothing too abnormal to justify. All sounds are being played with MasterAudio and all background music are being imported with recommended settings: And here is my MasterAudio advanced settings: I know that this is not enough for a good tech answer but thats all I got. I'm really lost here. So, real questions: 1) Is there any way to somehow check the MA performance? Unity profiler shows nothing... 2) Any idea what is causing this behaviour? We can discard hardware here.. I'm running Unity, the project folder and the runtime on SSD + 16gb RAM + i7 + good videocard Thanks for any help!

I watched that video twice, and I have no idea what you're saying is not normal. So please try and say it in words.
Unity Profiler basically you can see what Master Audio is doing under the covers with the Audio section (number of voices, audio memory etc). And then if any Master Audio classes show up on the CPU usage section, it would probably only be occlusion stuff if you're using it, but it's generally very very optimized for Garbage Collection, lightweight and event-based.
Having said that, it probably has nothing to do with what you're seeing....I'm a bit lost here.

Ok, well that has nothing to do with Master Audio. We're just using normal Audio Sources and Audio Clips with a bunch of fancy code to do things *before* they play and stuff like that.
The only thing I've seen cause stuttering so far is streaming, which is in your picture, so I would recommend what's in our best practices page on the Help website and use all Resource files or "preload audio data" = off for all songs instead.
Try that and see if it helps.

Thanks, let me try that. BTW, being OGG shouldn't make a difference, right?
Edit: Checking the project, all background music are loaded via Resources AND they are not preloaded, as you can se on the first post...

Are they also set to streaming? The overriding behavior may have changed in Unity so I'd turn that off if it's on and try again.
Ogg should be fine.
Please post a picture of your playlist with the songs, I don't see that in your OP.

Try turning off streaming as I suspect that's the reason for the skipping, although I've only seen that on mobile devices.
Also please expand your song settings. That is what I wanted to see.

Decompress on load is not streaming. I have no other suggestions than to turn off streaming.
Does that solve it?

FUnfortunely I have no other suggestions. This is also the first report of this that hasn't been solved by changing the streaming setting...
Could be a Unity issue. If you want to find out for sure you'd need to try the same thing without Master Audio.
Or try an older version on Unity.
