Hi, I get nulls for PlayResults. debugged to LogMessage("All children of " + sType + " were busy. Will not play this sound for this instance."); at what level do you set number of voices, group/bus? bus voices: NO LMT in realtime play of game, maxes out around Total Active Voices: 15 From forum/readme, I didn't have Polyphony Voice Limit checked. So I clicked it. Tried setting it to 5. keeps changing it back to 1. From Readme: you can set this to 3 even though you have 10 Variations, and only 3 can play at the same time? 3 limit simultaneously? ?? I only have one variation. I have to make up duplicate fake variations to them to play simultaneously? Cheers

Q1: Each Variation in your Sound Group has a "Voices / Weight" field that defaults to 1. Increase that to the maximum number of the Variation you want to be able to play simultaneously.
You can also set a voice limit for each bus, but if you do not, it will max out at the total sum of the weights of all Sound Groups that use that bus.
I don't use the Polyphony Voice Limit control, but that's for limiting the max sounds in a Sound Group to a smaller number than the sum of the Variation's weights, if you have such a need. It should not change away from what number you set unless you changed it during runtime and didn't have "Save Runtime Changes" enabled.
You must have missed the part in the online help about "voices / weight". It's definitely in there.
