That doesn't make any sense unless you are changing the pitch of the song. If you can send us a small project that reproduces the bug, we can see if it happens on our machines. Never heard of this one before. Use filemail.com to send large files zipped up, to email@example.com
Oh ok. We've never wanted to play music in 3d, so we haven't tried that. Do you actually want to do that? Or just didn't think to turn it to 2d? For 3d music you might be hearing some sort of weird Doppler effect like when a fire engine drives by you really quickly. So that's probably really how it's supposed to work according to Unity. I would recommend just playing your music in 2d. It's not anything specific to Master Audio audio causing that. We just play Audio Clips in Audio Sources under the covers after all.
