I am using a mobile touch joystick controller in my game (https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/#/content/3322)
and when I use it to move my player the playlist controller song slows down.
Thus the rate of the background music being played gets slower and faster as I use the touch controller to move.
All the joystick does is change the transform position of the player.
What is causing / How can I make the background music play without the speed of the song being effected?
This is for the background music song, not the sound effects (sound groups)
Thanks

That doesn't make any sense unless you are changing the pitch of the song. If you can send us a small project that reproduces the bug, we can see if it happens on our machines. Never heard of this one before. Use filemail.com to send large files zipped up, to support@darktonic.com
Thank you.

I appreciate the help. I was able to reproduce it in a simple project and I noticed that the background music on the playlist controller that is playing is a 3d sound. When I unchecked the 3d sound on the audio clip in the inspector then the effect went away.

Oh ok. We've never wanted to play music in 3d, so we haven't tried that. Do you actually want to do that? Or just didn't think to turn it to 2d? For 3d music you might be hearing some sort of weird Doppler effect like when a fire engine drives by you really quickly. So that's probably really how it's supposed to work according to Unity. I would recommend just playing your music in 2d. It's not anything specific to Master Audio audio causing that. We just play Audio Clips in Audio Sources under the covers after all.
