Hello,
I am wondering if there is any way to use the localization functions in MA, but have the audio files be addressable instead of resources files? Doing so would make it so all the audio files of all the different supported languages would need to be downloaded in the initial app download, putting the size very high.
If I could somehow use addressables, I could then have language groups that are downloaded only for the language of the user's device, saving lots of space. Is there possibly some sort of workaround to get something like this to work? That functionality would be greatly beneficial!
Thank you!

Negative. The way the Resource file localization works is just by convention of folder, but there's no guarantee that the folder would exist in a package. I'd suggest using Dynamic Sound Group Creators to create a "sound skin" in each language, and enabling the one the user has selected.

Gothca. So with the DSG, I could use addressable files? So I would make a sound skin for each language, then when user selects language, it would download the appropriate language skin content only, not everything else. That does sound like a good approach so long as the DSG supports addresssables! Thanks for the quick reply!

Yes you can use Addressables with DSGC.
Thanks!
