Hello I have a volume slider in the options menu and in the pause menu; I would like them both to cooperatively change the volume. Both sliders have the "EventSounds" script; is this proper usage? Currently I have both set up this way: Action Type - Persistent Settings Control Persistent Settings Command - Set Mixer Volume Volume Mode - Use Slider Value I am using one instance of MasterAudio which persists; actually, there is only one scene in the game. I am using the previous version; I have since got the newer but don't see any need to upgrade currently. I am using MasterAudio for UI sounds and music playlist. Thanks Danny

Well so I changed the settings for the Pause menu slider to :
Action Type - Persistent Settings Control Persistent Settings Command - *Set Music Volume* Volume Mode - Use Slider Value
This way, the menu (UI) sounds are controlled on the Options menu and the music is controlled on the pause menu which works for the game.
Still interested to know how to have essentially one volume control in two places if that makes any sense, but wanted to offer the update.

I'm not sure if there was a problem with you having the same slider and Event Sounds script on 2 Game Objects. You didn't really say.

Indeed (why don't developers read minds these days?), so the Event Sounds script worked (Persistent Settings Command = Set Mixer Volume) for the options menu (the UI sounds volume changed with the slider) but did not work (Persistent Settings Command = Set Mixer Volume) on the pause menu (the playlist volume did not change with the slider).
I am just now seeing that perhaps Set Mixer Volume does not control the playlist volume? I thought it controls volume for everything.
Thanks for bringing things into focus.

There's also a "Set Music Volume" under the same category which is used for the Playlists. There is no single control for both.
