Thanks for the fantastic asset! We've been using it for several years now with great effect!
Currently we need a solution on how to play a DynamicSoundGroup according to the progress of a slider. For example, if you move the slider progress from 0 to 70%, a sound clip with a length of 10 seconds should be played with a start time of 0 and end time of 7 seconds. If you slide it back to 20%, the sound should be played with a start time of 7 seconds, and end time of 2 second.
I got the feeling that we are missing something very basic here, so any ideas on how to play a sound with a given start and end time with code, where the start time can be bigger than the end time, are greatly appreciated!

You will need to code this yourself. As far as playing the sound backward, I'm not sure that's supported any more by Unity.
You can play the sound with one of the methods that don't end in "AndForget" so you get a handle to the Sound Variation, then change the time to what you want, for start time.
