Hi!
I'm wondering if Master Audio does something to cull audio if it's not using resource file creation mode? It doesn't seem to turn of sound sources that are barely audible?

No, it doesn't, as you've observed. But you can use the auto-prioritization feature, which will assign priority based on distance from the Audio Listener. Unity will mute everything but the highest 32 priorities. Barely audible audio still should be heard normally.
Does that accomplish what you're looking for? I'm not sure what your scenario is and what you're trying to do here.

That's exactly what i wanted to know. Thanks! We're closing the point where we have over 100 sounds in the scene so it's time to start thinking about performance...
