The following two errors occur on every instance of pressing/holding an NGUI button which has the EventSounds.cs script attached.
It doesn't look like you have OnSelect or OnDrag implemented for NGUI objects, so the Unity / UGUI functions are intercepting them instead?

Any feedback appreciated, let me know if I can get you anything else.

Also, just out of curiousity, what is the reason you don't use uGUI? I'm fairly curious why it's still so popular when Unity has its own native GUI now and has for awhile. If you don't feel like answering this part, that's fine.

We are using NGUI as our UI system, because when we started our project UGUI did not exist. It is too much work, too late in the project, to switch.

Here is a quick overload fix I patched EventSounds.cs with.

Did you delete the contents of our 3 methods, or add those methods keeping the others intact? They appear to have different signatures than the methods in EventSounds.

I ask because we can't just delete the content of those methods. That would break EventSounds for non-NGUI people.

I simply added 3 method overloads. Nothing in the code was changed, I only added those three functions. I also implemented OnSelect, fully, as a test. And I was able to use it successfully, through the editor.

Hey, all I did was add those function signatures beside the previously existing ones. Around line 882, after the OnHover(bool isOver) function signature.
It compiles, however I don't know if it breaks uGUI or not, because we don't use it. But it shouldn't, because the signature that uGUI is looking are still there.
