Hi there!
I'm the audio designer on an indie game, and while I have a lot of experience doing audio in Unreal and a couple middlewares, this is my first experience in Unity. Since I have only a beginner's understanding of programming in C#, please forgive me if this is a total newbie question.
Anyways, thought I'd try out Master Audio to see if I could streamline the audio implementation process because the plugin is so well reviewed. Bought in the Asset Store, got it downloaded, clicked import. After import, no Audio Manager or Master Audio menu options show up, and I get these 6 errors in the Unity error dialogue.
Assets/DarkTonic/MasterAudio/Scripts/Events/EventSounds.cs(18,6): error CS0616: 'DarkTonic.MasterAudio.AudioScriptOrder': in not an attribute class
Assets/DarkTonic/MasterAudio/Scripts/Events/EventSounds.cs(18,6): error CS0246: The type or namespace name 'AudioScriptOrderAttribute' could not be found. Are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?
Assets/DarkTonic/MasterAudio/Scripts/Utility/PlaylistController.cs(16,6): error CS0616: ‘DarkTonic.MasterAudio.AudioScriptOrder': in not an attribute class
Assets/DarkTonic/MasterAudio/Scripts/Utility/PlaylistController.cs(16,6): error CS0246: The type or namespace name ‘AudioScriptOrderAttribute' could not be found. Are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?
Assets/DarkTonic/MasterAudio/Scripts/Singleton/MasterAudio.cs(16,6): error CS0616: ‘DarkTonic.MasterAudio.AudioScriptOrder': in not an attribute class
Assets/DarkTonic/MasterAudio/Scripts/Singleton/MasterAudio.cs(16,6): error CS0246: The type or namespace name ‘ AudioScriptOrderAttribute' could not be found. Are you missing a using directive Or an assembly reference?
Since they're all referencing the same thing, I'm guessing this is an easy fix of deleting, reinstalling, or re-referencing something, but if I could be directed on how to do that (or to what more information you need), that would be much appreciated.
Oh, and this is in Unity Pro 4.6.5f1
