I have a 2d sound that works perfectly on some objects (buttons triggered by clicking them) but not on others which reside in a different scene.
The clips are set to 'Force to 2d' so I dont think proximity is the issue.
Any ideas?
Thanks
BTW the MasterAudio game object persists across all scenes too.

You will want to check (at runtime) if the Spatial Blend is 0 on the Audio Source for those Variations, which means fully 2d. If it is not, I'll need to see some settings to know why. If it is, that doesn't make any sense.

When you try to play audio with no LIstener in the Scene, Unity should log a warning to the Console window telling you why. The Console window is always the first place I look for clues when things don't work.
