Hi!
Just upgraded to V3.5.8.5 from Asset Store, seems sth went wrong. I did the upgrade as instructed by the upgrade note:
The Revert button pops up when you enable 'Edit Installation Path' but in my case the path was already correct (Assets\Plugins\Darktonic\MasterAudio). Clicking either Revert or Update doesn't seem to do anything else than trigger the corresponding Ok dialog.
I also get an error in Console saying "Instance of MasterAudioInspector couldn't be created. The script class needs to derive from ScriptableObject and be placed in the Assets/Editor folder." When I open Masteraudio in Inspector, there's nothing but a stripped down script header (with no icon etc) with text "Multi-object editing not supported" under it. Despite the errors, the project does run and the sounds trigger as they should.
Any tips how to fix? Is it just me or has someone else also come across this?

I got that error too. Closing and opening Unity fixed it. Try that

I cannot create builds anymore after upgrading.
Tons of errors :
Assets/Plugins/DarkTonic/MasterAudio/Editor/AudioEventInspector.cs(3,7): error CS0246: The type or namespace name `UnityEditor' could not be found. Are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference? Assets/Plugins/DarkTonic/MasterAudio/Editor/ButtonClickerInspector.cs(2,7): error CS0246: The type or namespace name `UnityEditor' could not be found. Are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference? Assets/Plugins/DarkTonic/MasterAudio/Editor/ButtonClickerInspector.cs(2,7): error CS0246: The type or namespace name `UnityEditor' could not be found. Are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?
Among others. Any advice?

I had the same problem as Wagenheimer but moving the folder back out of Plugins solved it. Does the Unity Editor stuff not work within the plugin folder?

I had the same problem as Wagenheimer but moving the folder back out of Plugins solved it. Does the Unity Editor stuff not work within the plugin folder? It does work, but it's too many folders deep. Needs to go in Plugins/Editor. Or you can move it out temporarily, that works too. I've fixed this in the next version which will be submitted tomorrow.

Thanks, restarting did help. I actually ended up downgrading to Unity 5.1 for now, as 5.2 had some other issues too

Same here. We're not using 5.2 yet, waiting for next update.

I'm using Unity 5.2.1p4 and MA 3.5.8.6, I get the same errors. I tried closing and opening Unity which didn't help.

I tried with Unity 5.2.1 and MA 3.5.8.6, no errors after import. Which platform are you on? I'm doing PC standalone.

On Android, I had to completely delete these files (plugins/darktonic/masteraudio) from my project (moving them out of plugins folder still gave the errors)

On Android, I had to completely delete these files (plugins/darktonic/masteraudio) from my project (moving them out of plugins folder still gave the errors) I'm not sure what you're referring to. Please add more detail. I have no problems whatsoever. I just tried: 1) Create new project in Unity 5.1.3. 2) Import Master Audio from Asset Store. 3) Change platform to Android. 4) Build example APK. And had no issues at all.
