In our game we will be playing a generic song for the most part, but depending on if a type of enemy enters the scene we want to play a different song, and when that enemy is defeated, we want to then fade back to the generic song. What's the best technique to achieve this? It's all going to be controlled by code. I wasn't sure if the best way is to have multiple playlists and stop/start tracks in different playlists, or if I can have all the songs in the same playlist and then jump to different tracks whenever I need to play different music. Thanks!

I would put all songs in 1 Playlist then use EventSounds script on an enemy to play a certain song when an enemy becomes enabled or disabled.

Thanks!
I ended up using: MasterAudio.OnlyPlaylistController.TriggerPlaylistClip(clipName) because it provided me more functionality and I don't want to mix playing sfx too much between using code and using the Master Audio interface (otherwise I don't know where to look for different sounds)
