Hi,
When multiple instances of the same sound play at the same time, the total volume increases because the sounds add together. Is there a way to decrease the volume of that group by the number of instances that are playing at the same time?
Or is there a way to have the Voice Weight at 1, but when the sound is triggered, it stops the current instance if one is playing, and plays the new triggered instance? Instead of waiting until the current sound is finished.
I hope the question makes sense, thank you for your help.

First question, yes that's normal audio behavior. No, there's no way to do that. That doesn't sound like something many people would use either. It's realistic to have the volume increase when more sounds are playing, and it's always good to cap most sounds at a low number so the volume doesn't get out of hand. 2nd question, yes, you can set "Variation Mode" to "Dialog" on the Sound Group's settings. That also gives you the option to fade the current sound or stop when a new one plays. For future reference, you can click on any of the green help icons on each Inspector to get to the online help when you wonder "what does this stuff do?".
