I am having a problem with playlists. I have several different playlists, each consisting of a single track. Many of them use the same track/clip/resource file, but for scene architecture reasons I need to have several playlists that end up using the same track. When I try to switch between two playlists that use the same track, the playlist stops entirely. Is there any way I can fix this without building my own external mapping of playlists to tracks so that I avoid starting a playlist whose track is already playing?

Do you want the song to start over if it's already playing in a separate playlist? What behavior are you looking for?

I don't really care if it starts over or just keeps playing. Just so long as it doesn't stop entirely.

I am unable to reproduce what you're seeing. I made 2 playlists both containing the same song. Tried Audio Clip and Resource file. When I call "ChangePlaylist" it starts playing over from the beginning if I tell it to and keeps playing if I don't.
So you will need to send me an example project that shows the bug you are seeing if you want further investigation done. Please see the official bug reporting rules thread stickied at top of this forum.

Unfortunately I don't have the time to put together an example project for this. I appreciate you looking into it, though. I did find a fairly simple solution for anyone else who happens to run into this: by calling "StopPlaylist" first, the issue no longer occurs.

Ok, I will be unable to fix it then. I would appreciate if you have time later and can send me something.
