Hi,
I have installed NGUI and it is working fine. - I updated the World Variable Listener by clicking on the NGUI-CoregameKit in the 3rd Party folder. But now the NGUI GameObjects in the hierachy dont load UI Root and UI Panel SCript anymore. It says plesae fix any compile errors...
The console says that the WorldVarialbeListener (17,17) error CS0246 Type or Namespace 'UILabel' could not be found. Are you using directive or an assembly refferense?
If I click on that, the WVL scripts opens an show the UILabel red... it starts with: private UILabel label.
I have uninstalled NGUI and installed it again but it doesnt help. - And I am pretty sure that the UILabels are there, I can see them on screen and the inspector no problems with them.
I also could back to the standard non-Ngui-Listener and then NGUI works again. - But the Listeners dont update UILabls...
(I have made a backup, so no problem to return) But I would love to use a bunch of Worldvariables to listen to. I would be great if I could use the NGUI and the Listener.
Any suggestions how to get things working?
Best regards,

Apparently this is a compile order problem. Since we keep our plugins in "Plugins" folder, which is a good thing to do for plugins since that folder doesn't have to recompile when you change code outside "plugins", and "Assets" (non-Plugins) is compiled 2nd.
If you move all the folders in NGUI/Scripts into Plugins it will compile again. Don't move the NGUI/Scripts/Editor folder though. That can stay where it is.

I'm not sure if your problem is fixed? You quoted my post but added no words of your own...

Not unless you also move our plugin there too. But bottom line: It's better to have code that doesn't change in Plugins. It cuts down your compile time.
