Hi I'm creating a RTS game. I got sounds to play through Master Audio, but I was having trouble getting the same clip to play simultaneously.
For example, lots of units die in my game in a short amount of time. Currently I only hear one death sound at a time. My question is how do you get the sounds to work such that a death sound can be started while a previous instance of the sound is still playing?

Increase the number of instances on the sound group that's within your Master Audio object.

Hi thanks for the answer. Now I added another instance on the sound group with the same clip. The problem now is that the second playback interrupts and stops the first. I want it to be able to overlap so I can hear both. Any ideas?

You don't need another Sound Group. The correct way is to increase the Weight property (defaults to 1) of the individual Variation (or Variations) in that Sound Group. The weight controls the total maximum voices of that sound effect.

In the Variation's Inspector. Under Master Audio game object there are any number of Sound Group game objects. Under each of those there are any number of Variation game objects.
